Obituary

We mourn the loss of our dear family member Phyllis Ann Weix the third child of Frank and Marie Weix and sister to Michael, Connie and Joceil.

Phyllis was born April 26, 1947 in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Phyllis lived a simple life among family and friends. She loved to laugh and joke with anyone. She enjoyed country music and was excited about the group tour she went on to Dollyworld in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with several country music lovers. She also especially enjoyed her trip to Alaska.

Phyllis worked for several years at the Opportunity Development Center (ODC) in Marshfield, WI and was a dependable, hard worker. She retired from ODC in 2012.

In her later years she moved between several institutions entrusted with her care. She enjoyed painting ceramics and being surrounded by several antique treasures and reminders of her rich family heritage. She was visited often by close family.

Phyllis went to be with our Lord December 14, 2022.

We thought of you with love today.

But that is nothing new.

We thought about you yesterday.

And days before that too.

We think of you in silence.

We often speak your name.

Now all we have is memories.

And your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake.

With which we'll never part.

God has you in his keeping.

We have you in our heart.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Marie Weix and her sister Connie and brother-in-law Gary Lazachek.

She is survived by her brother Michael (Sue), and sister Joceil Sudmeier (David).
