IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Perseus Andrew
Culpepper
February 16, 2025 – December 18, 2025
With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our precious baby boy, Perseus Andrew Culpepper, on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Percy was born on February 16, 2025 in Marshfield to Brandon and Nicole (Guden) Culpepper. In his ten short months, he filled the lives of all who knew him with endless joy, laughter, and light. From the very beginning, he was a true miracle—a cherished rainbow baby who arrived during a dark time and became a shining beacon of hope for his family.
He was always happy, greeting each day with the biggest smile, especially in the mornings when his mom came to wake him. That smile never failed to melt hearts. Curious and alert, he took in the world around him with his gorgeous big blue eyes, always watching, always learning. Though small, he made sure his voice was heard—always adding his "two cents," often with playful growls that became one of his many endearing trademarks.
He rolled everywhere he went, his crazy hair and squeezable cheeks making him impossible to resist. Known for being easygoing and content, he was the only one in the family with visible abs, a detail that brought endless smiles and laughter. He loved pulling on necklaces, snuggling close—especially with his mom—and was a true daddy's boy, insisting on going wherever Dad went.
His bond with his big brother Charlie was something truly special. He loved playing with him, watching shows together, and simply being by his side. Charlie was one of his greatest joys.
At mealtime, he made his preferences clear—peas were not welcome—but he happily devoured sweet potatoes, squash, and bananas. At night, he found comfort in his favorite elephant that sang lullabies, gently guiding him to sleep.
Though his time on this earth was far too brief, his impact was immeasurable. He taught his family about unconditional love, resilience, and the beauty found in even the smallest moments. He will forever be remembered as a snugglebug, a happy soul, and a little boy who always had a smile on his face.
Percy will live on in the hearts of his family, forever loved, forever missed, and forever their beautiful light.
He is survived by his parents, Brandon and Nicole and brother, Charlie.
He is further survived by his grandparents, Amy Culpepper (Chris Gallup) and Chuck and Lisa Guden, great grandparents, Vicki Dupee, Carol Betthauser, and Tom and Helene Kiefer; aunts and uncles, Amber (Jacob) Rabehl, Allyson Guden (Jesse Fowler), Jordan Koranda, Zach (Skylar) Koranda, and Corissa Koranda (fiancé - Tony Rollins); cousins, Ellis Rabehl, Aiyanna, Gatlin, Izzy, and Briar Koranda, and Skylar Rollins, and many other relatives and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his older brother, Andrew and another sibling both lost before birth, paternal grandfather, Clifford Culpepper, great grandfathers, Rodney Dupee and John Betthauser, great grandparents, Arthur and Annette Guden, great aunt, Marilyn Burkart, and great uncle, John Guden.
