Pauline M. Krause, 77, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2017 in Marshfield Wisconsin.
The funeral service for Pauline will be held Friday, January 20, at 11:00 am at Buchanan/Rembs funeral home in Pittsville, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 am until the time of service. The Rev. Gary Markworth will officiate. Burial will be in Arpin Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Frischman Jr., Peter Maynard, Ron Feit, Jake Feit, Mike Jacob and Nicole Birkolz.
Pauline, a long-time resident of Auburndale, was born August 17, 1939 in Arpin, Wisconsin to Chris and Barbara (Nimm) Jacobs Sr. Pauline was married twice, first to Alfred Frischman until his passing, and then to Allen Krause, who also passed away.
Pauline worked as a caregiver at Bethel Center for many years until her retirement. After retirement, she enjoyed taking care of her canaries, shopping, listening to music, playing bingo, and watching episodes of "The Bachelor". But most of all, Pauline enjoyed spending time with her grandson Peter, and watching him grow up to be a fine young man.
Pauline is survived by her son, Joseph (Virginia) Frischman Sr. and son-in-law Tom Maynard. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Peter Maynard, Joseph (Traci) Frischman Jr., Paul Frischman, Bobbi Sue (Mark) Scheunemann, Rebecca Dawson, Roger (Deanna) Frischman Jr., Nick Frischman, Bonnie Springer and Brenda Frischman. As well as 16 great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by six siblings; Chris Jacobs Jr., Richard Jacobs Sr., Kathy (David Sr.) Feit, Marlene Feit, Irene (Glenn) Bukovec, Arlene (Ed) Brookhart, and one brother-in-law Richard Pongratz.
She was predeceased by her parents, both her husbands, her daughter Barbara, her son Roger Frischman Sr., her sister Christine Pongratz, and her long-time companion Steve Socha.
