Paul R. Weigel, 56 of Marshfield died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 as the result of a bicycle accident. Family will receive relatives and friends from 5-7pm Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield. Paul was born on June 26, 1957 in Marshfield to Harold and Clara (Schultz) Weigel and graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1975. He was united in marriage to Mae J. Karl on October 14, 1978 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Rozellville. Paul worked for Graham Manufacturing Company in Marshfield for 17 years before they closed and moved out of state. Then he joined Guardian Building Products in Marshfield and worked there until his accident for 19 years. He enjoyed riding his bike, bowling with his son and family, and had a kind heart for everyone. Paul loved to watch and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Lakers. He is survived by his wife Mae, son Dylan at home, his mother Clara Brown of Hewitt, two brothers, David Weigel of Stevens Point and Roy Weigel of Marshfield, and one sister Linda Weigel of Marshfield Besides his father and stepmother Mable, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Lisa.
