Patrick J. Wolf, 55, Stratford, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 15, 2011 in the emergency room of Ministry St. Josephs Hospital, Marshfield. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Center City Church, Marshfield, where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 54, following the service. Rev. Larry Sheehan, Pastor of Faith Fellowship Church will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends at Rembs Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Patrick was born on March 17, 1956 in Marshfield, the son of Frank and Mildred (Foat) Wolf and was a 1974 graduate of Loyal High School. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving from 1976 until his honorable discharge in 1980. He was united in marriage to Doris J. Southerland on June 25, 1977. Pat will be celebrated and remembered for his commitment to selfless giving and his desire to lend a helping hand to anyone he could. As a husband, father, grandfather, sibling and friend the love of Christ was continuously represented in all that he did. In word and in deed, he did all things for the glory of God. As an avid outdoorsman, he had a deep appreciation for Gods creation. His infectious personality and endless energy brought joy to everyone he was around. Although he will be missed greatly, his friends and family are eternally grateful for the blessing of having Pat in their lives. He is so very deserving of the great joy he now experiences in the presence of God. Pat is lovingly survived by his wife, Doris and his children, Andrea (Josh) Bell of Texas, Christopher (Stephanie) Wolf and Eric Wolf, all of Stratford. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Taylor Bell, Adeline Bell, Sally Wolf and Claire Wolf. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, Norman (Monica) Wolf, Virginia (Marlin) Schmitz, June Marvin, Irene (Pete) Breu, Mary (Roy) Rasmussen, Arnie (Delores) Wolf, Delores (Dave) Kautzer, Laurette Bauer, Larry Wolf , Shelly (Randy) Haslow, Clarice (Dick) Clark, Dennis (Gloria) Wolf, Randal (Rosemary) Wolf, and Renee (Rodney) Schoen. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janet Metcalfe.
