Patricia A. Schlafke, 68, Marshfield, died on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 surrounded by her family at House of the Dove, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 24, 2014 at St. John's Catholic Church with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield, and serving as pallbearers will be Sam Jirschele, Gaelba Jirschele, David Weister, Greg Weix, Geoff Weinfurtner and Derrick Backaus. The visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at Rembs Funeral Home. Patricia was born on March 21, 1945 in Marshfield, the daughter of Macellus "Spitz" and Ann (Hartl) Jirschele and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She was united in marriage to Donald R. Schlafke on August 14, 1965 at St. John's Catholic Church. He died on July 8, 2004. Pat had been employed at Wing's Hallmark Store in the Northway Mall for a number of years. She enjoyed her time at the family cabin and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Amy (Jon) Albrecht, Matthew (Kelly) Schlafke, and Adam (Stacey) Schlafke, all of Marshfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paige, Rachel, Morgan, Weston, Will, Mattea, Caleb, Myranda, Toni and Bailey. She is further survived by a brother, Marc (Carla) Jirschele of Berlin.
