Obituary

Patricia V. Davies, 83, of Marshfield, formerly of Wild Rose, died peacefully Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital with her loving children by her side. She was born February 16, 1929 in Wild Rose, Wisconsin to Dora (Nielson) and Ellery Patterson. She graduated from Wild Rose High School. Pat worked as a bank teller for banks in Milwaukee, Waupaca and Wild Rose. She married the love of her life Daniel M. Davies on November 14, 1950 at the Davies Homestead. The couple resided on the dairy farm in the town of Rose, Waushara County. Danny preceded her in death on April 25, 1986. After selling the farm Patsy moved to Marshfield to be near her daughter and family. Patsy loved and enjoyed her family. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles, watch her TV shows, grow flowers and listen to a variety of music. She and Danny were actively involved in the Wisconsin Quarter Horse Association. Her smile and love will be missed by her friends and family. Survivors include her son, John D. Davies ( fiancee Susan Merten) of Eau Claire, her daughter Debra Davies of Marshfield, one brother James (Mary) Patterson of Oshkosh, grandchildren, Andrew (Christin) Davies of Hopkins,Mn., Dana (Adam) Reyes of Oshkosh, Patti (James) Bandow of Stratford, Heather Hackman of Marshfield, Joanna Hackman, DePere ; great-grandchildren, Jackson Davies, Julia Boushon, Katie Boushon, Miranda Dennee, Abbi Knauf, Oliva Balderson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Danny; brothers Wayne Patterson, Norman Patterson, infant sister Virginia Patterson, infant grandson Evan Davies and infant Haven. A service will be held at a later date at Caersalem Cemetery in Wild Rose. Rembs Funeral Homes Marshfield is serving the family.
