Patricia L. Beining, 96 of Marshfield, died on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Palliative Care Unit in Ministry St. Josephs Hospital. Visitations will be from 2:30 pm Sunday August 7, 2011 at Rembs Funeral Home with funeral services at 4pm. Rev. James Logan will be officiating. There will be a Memorial Mass of Christian burial on Monday, August 8th, 8:30 am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Patricia was born on June 21, 1915 in Greenwood to Anson and Pauline (Blodgett) Campbell. Patricia attended Jr. High and graduated from Senior High School in McAllen, Texas. She was united in marriage to Clement "Clem" Beining on July 17, 1937 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Marshfield. Clem died on January 26, 2006. Many of her recipes were used for events and dinners at the Hotel Charles where Clem was the manager for many years. She would also assist in planning and setting up for catered weddings and special events. Patricia was known for her design and sewing ability. She loved flowers, gardening around her home and traveling in United States and Mexico. She was a member of the Dance Club, American Legion Auxiliary Post # 54 of Marshfield, and Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Patricia is survived by her children, Kris Huffman of DeLand, FL, Gretchen Zimmermann of Marshfield, Jon (Paula) Beining of Petaluma, CA, James (Barbara) Beining of Marshfield and Patti Beining of Green Bay. She is further survived by 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband Clem, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law James Huffman, daughter-in-law, Kris Ann Beining, two sisters Polly Posey and Gretchen Woods and one brother Bud Campbell.
