Norman A. Porath, 89 of Marshfield died on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Burial will be in Loyal City Lutheran Cemetery in Loyal, WI. Norman was born on March 21, 1926 to Alfred and Jeannie (Salo) Porath. He was united in marriage to Ruth Henninger on September 11, 1971 in Marshfield. She passed away in 1982. Norman is survived by his stepchildren, Gary Levenhagen of Rock Island, TN, Eldon Henninger of Glendale, AZ, and Norma Weiler of Madison along with numerous step grandchildren. He is further survived by two nephews, Rod (Debi) Porath of Loyal, Randy (Julie Motte) Porath of Owen and a niece Denise (Ron) Kovalaske of Owen. Besides his parents and his wife Ruth, he was preceded in death by a brother Edwin Porath and a niece Debra Brown. Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield is assisting the family.
