Norman E."Huck" Pacourek, 87 of Marshfield died on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Mass of Christian burial will be 1:30pm Friday at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. Sam Martin officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the VFW Post # 1866 of Marshfield. Visitations will be from 12:30pm Friday until time of services at St. John's Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Norman was born on December 8, 1924 in Marshfield to Joseph and Anna (Feit) Pacourek. He attended St. John's Parochial School in Marshfield and graduated from Marshfield Senior High School. Norman served in the United States Marines from July 3, 1943 until April 14, 1946. After his honorable discharge, he was employed at Roddis/Weyerehaeuser Company for 40 years retiring from the quality control department. He was united in marriage to Eljean R.Sargent on December 28, 1946 in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Junction City. Eljean died on August 7, 2003. He enjoyed playing golf, cards with his buddies and traveling. Norman is survived by one son Ron Pacourek of Truth or Consequences, NM and a daughter Renee (Phillip Rynders) Warren of Ironwood, MI; four grandchildren, Shawn (Brian) Darling, Ken (Amy) Warren, Carla (Jason) Schill, Amy (Mike) Baker and seven great grandchildren, Alex, Aidan and Clay, Cierra, Kendra, Isabelle and Kaeden. He is further survived by one sister Jean Entziminger of Stevens Point. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Derek Pacourek, four brothers, Richard, Leonard, Lawrence and Robert and one sister Bernice Strebe.
