Nick was born on December 29, 1982, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Gary and Sandy (Rogney) Linzmeier. He graduated from Auburndale High School in 2001 and went on to work for Meade as a Pipefitter in the natural gas industry.
Nick was a truly remarkable and unique individual. He loved his family, sports, hunting, the outdoors, and an endless number of friends. His love for hunting and the outdoors was one of the things he cherished most deeply in his life. As a friend, Nick was at his best. Many considered him their "best friend". A man that would always put everyone else first before him in everything. He was a friend you could count on and was always ready to lend a hand or just share a laugh. Nick was one of those rare people everyone loved and respected. He would take the shirt off his back for anyone and affected so many in the community. There was never any doubt that Nick's main priority in life was his love for his family and being a supportive son, brother, uncle, and especially a loving partner and father figure. Nick's obituary could be 10 pages long and we wouldn't run out of words to describe his impact on this world, but it will be the masses of people that show up to say goodbye that will tell his story the best.
Nick is survived by his parents, Gary and Sandy Linzmeier, loving girlfriend Cassie and her daughter Makenna, brother Aaron (Kristin) Linzmeier and nephew/niece Camden and Delaney Linzmeier, and Grandmother Mary Linzmeier, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ollie and Joyce Rogney, Uncle Brian Rogney, and Grandpa Wallace Linzmeier.
