IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nicholas Robert
Benz
October 30, 2021 – December 22, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas R. Benz, who tragically departed this world at the age of 2 on December 22, 2023, to be with his Lord.
A Remembrance and Celebration of Life will take place at Our Savior Catholic Church in Mosinee on Saturday, December 30th, 2023, at 12:00 pm, preceded by a public visitation from 10:00 am until the commencement of the service. Father Marion Talaga will preside over the ceremony.
Born on October 30, 2021, Nicholas was the cherished son of Chuck Benz and Nicole Sutheimer. As the youngest member of the family, he was an unexpected blessing who brought immeasurable joy and unity to his family. Nicholas held a special affection for the family farm, deriving happiness from his father's daily farm tasks. His miniature replicas of the Skid Steer, Combine, and Tractors were among his favorite toys, mirroring his father's farming equipment. As the youngest child, Nicholas developed a powerful affection for his big brother and sisters, cherishing their hugs and kisses, adventures, and snuggles.
Nicholas was a bright, affectionate, and contented young boy who reveled in the wonders of the outdoors. Whether engaged in feed mixing, playing in the corn, or enthusiastically collecting various items in his bucket, his presence brought light and joy to those around him. His infectious giggle could uplift any moment, making him a source of happiness for everyone fortunate enough to encounter him. Even at such a tender age, Nicholas displayed a strong sense of individuality, showcasing preferences and convictions. He was a child who knew his own mind and had developed powerful particularities. He loved making his own choices, whether those choices pertained to what to wear or what he refused to wear, finding a sense of self in being the one to choose.
Nicholas is preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Benz and Auntie Beth Kaiser. He is survived by his grandmother Cecelia Benz, grandparents Dwynne and Ann Sutheimer, parents Chuck Benz and Nicole Sutheimer, and siblings Thomas, Allisyn, Brianna, and Danika. He is further survived by John Kaiser(Beth), Nancy Benz, Sandy and Kurt Grunwald, Nate and Keli Sutheimer, and his many cousins.
The family extends sincere appreciation to those who have endured the loss of a child, while also offering a heartfelt tribute to the lives tragically lost on farms. This serves as a poignant reminder to the community to cherish the bonds of family and recognize the profound value inherent in each family member.
During this difficult time, they appreciate the support and understanding from friends and well-wishers.
