Naomi R. Topinka, 87 of Stratford died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Monday, June 23, 2014 at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitations will be from 11:30am Monday until time of services at Rembs Funeral Home. Naomi was born on October 5, 1926 in Jump River to Orville and Hazel (Coblentz) Krisher. She was united in marriage to George B. Topinka on November 1, 1946 in Neillsville. George died sadly on September 23, 2007. They farmed in Neillsville until 1951 then moved to Marshfield and after George's retirement, they moved to Stratford. Naomi has been in an assisted living and Three Oaks for the past 3 years. Naomi is survived by her children, Norma Hoeg of Colby, Dale Topinka of Ladysmith, Karen Pataska of Stratford, and Darryl Topinka of Madison; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is further survived by four sisters, Helen (Victor) Topinka of Colby, Edna (Arthur) Topinka of Marshfield, Elaine (Fred) Griswold and Myrtle Stockwell both of Pittsville. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son David Topinka , grandson Kevin Pataska, great granddaughter Kayla Vanderwyst, and four brothers Chester, Alvin, Lowell and Marvin Krisher.
