Obituary

Myron W. Williams, Sr., 83, Marshfield, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 with family by his side at Marshfield Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time. Deacon Jeffrey Austin will officiate. The funeral will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1866. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Rogers, Nicholas Liebe, Kevin Williams, Matthew Tysver, Mark Kulas and Kurt Babcock. Myron was born on September 7, 1938 in Knowlton, Wisconsin, to Carl and Rose (Kujawski) Williams. Following his high school education, he attended college and received an accounting degree. He then served in the United States Air Force. He married Beverly A. Payne on February 7, 1959 in Wausau. Myron was employed at various businesses including Mobile Plywood, was an over the road truck driver and lastly at Trimpac. He and Beverly were devoted foster parents to many children from 1974 until the present time. He served as a Boy Scout Leader and for the Marshfield Police Auxiliary, enjoyed woodworking, and was an avid hunter and Viking fan. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly, and their children, Myron "Mike" (Terri) Williams, Jr., Laurie Krug, Donna Tysver, Sheila (Don) Pohle, Pamela (Eric) Fredrickson and Jolie Williams and foster sons Tim Liebe and Mark Sternweis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. He is further survived by a sister, Dawn (Jose') Hernandez and a brother, Gerald Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Cindy Marie on May 20, 1959, a grandson, Jammie Joe Tysver on November 19, 1992, sons-in-law, Ronald Krug on July 20, 2012, and Mark Tysver on April 5, 2021, sisters, Loretta Hackbarth, Ethel Shulfer, Isabelle Babcock, Esther Hornick, Louise Pilgrim, and Judy Miller, and brothers, Clifford Williams, Carl Williams, Jr., Harvey Williams, Marvin Williams and Ernest Williams.
