Myron C. "Doc" Crawford, 90, passed away on November 12, 2018 at the home of his daughter in Babcock, Wisconsin.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Doc was born January 9, 1928 in Ina, Illinois to Roy & Elsie Crawford. As a child he grew up in Momence, IL. Doc worked a variety jobs in his early life. He was married to Violet Steele, later Dorothy Rettell, and finally Evelyn Bauer. His marriages produced a large loving family. A welder/fabricator by trade and was always available to help his friends. He was an avid motorcyclist, sportsman, racer, and mechanic: he loved to tinker on all types of engines. He will be greatly missed by many.
Myron is survived by his children: Gary Crawford of Pittsville, Les Crawford, Audrey (Terry) Chamberlain, and Kathy Crawford all of Babcock, WI; step-children: Gale Carpenter of Illinois, Andrew Crawford of Arizona, Dora Crawford, JoAnn Holmes, Keith Crawford, Kenneth Crawford, and Charlotte Crawford all of Illinois. He is further survived by grandchildren: Chad Berg, Charles Crawford, Chase Crawford, Tonya Carstens, Jesse Billadeau, Anthony Smith, & Shawn Dunlap. Doc is further survived by a host of extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Rickey Crawford, wives Dorothy & Evelyn, and his siblings: Robert Crawford & Leslie Crawford.
