Obituary

Muriel Etta (Holbrook) Taggart of Junction City, died on July 21st in Marshfield, Wisconsin at A Touch of Home CBRF at the age of 97. Muriel was born on October 17, 1914 in Junction City the daughter of the late William and Minnie (Christensen) Holbrook and sister to three brothers Willis, Charles and Earl Holbrook. Her marriage to Webster Taggart took place in Stevens Point, Wisconsin in 1959. Muriel loved baking, sewing, quilting, gardening and reading. She spent many of her years as a homemaker and caregiver. She was a woman of deep faith and love for her Savior Jesus Christ. Survivors include her brother Willis, his wife Lucille and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, a sister- in- law, one niece and one nephew. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday July 28th at New Hope Community Church in Junction City, with Rev. Erv Volkmann officiating. Visitation is at 10:00am until service time. She will be laid to rest at Runkel Cemetery in Junction City. Her family would like to thank A Touch of Home and Ministry Home Care Hospice for their tender, loving care to Muriel as she was ushered into the presence of her Heavenly Father.
