Mitchell V. Kacer, 63, Spencer, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, the result of a motor cycle accident. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Daryn Bahn officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Joshua, Joel and Adam Krause, David Kloehn, and Zach and Riley Genke. The visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 am until service time at Christ Lutheran Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mitchell was born on February 25, 1952 in Milwaukee to Joyce (Jacoby) Kacer Baxter. He was a 1971 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He married Betty J. Goodbrand on June 24, 1988 in Marshfield. Mitch was employed at Marshfield Doors Systems until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, bird watching and especially his family. One of his favorite sayings was "Everday is a honeymoon". He is survived by his wife, Betty and his stepson, David Kloehn of Marshfield. He is also survived by his sisters, Karen Mellenthin of Marshfield and Carla (Bruce) Paszkiewicz of Neillsville. He is further survived by 1 niece, 3 nephews, 2 great nieces and 4 great nephews.
