Minnie M. Bobert, 99 formerly of Stratford died on Sunday evening, September 14, 2014 at the Colonial Center in Colby. Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in March Rapids with Pastor Robert Romberg officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitations will be on Thursday at the church from 9:30 am until service time. Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford is assisting the family with the arrangements. Minnie was born on December 1, 1914 in the Town of Frankfort to Jacob and Minnie (Houndorf) Christiansen. She was united in marriage to Arnold R. Bobert on September 9, 1939 in the Town of Wien, Marathon County. Arnold passed away on November 7, 1992. She attended Town of Frankfort schools and after their marriage farmed in the Town of Eau Pleine until moving to the Town of Cleveland. She lived there until entering the Colonial Center in 2006. She enjoyed her flower and vegtable gardens and doing various crafts. Minnie babysat for her neighbors, the Umnus Family for two generations. She is survived by a daughter Mae M. Bobert of Wausau and a son Reuben J. Bobert of Wausau. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold, four brothers and one sister. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
