Michael A. Weis, 49, Marshfield, died on Monday, November 24, 2014 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Rembs Funeral Home, with Pastor Brett Shilton Officiating. Michael was born on March 7, 1965 in Ridgway, Pennsylvania, to Albert and Susan (Lucas) Weis and had served in the National Guard. He had been employed at Roehl Transport, Marshfield, for 26 years. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his loved ones. Mike is survived by his children, Letitia Weis of Marshfield and Andrew (Kate DeCook) Weis of La Crosse. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Peyton May Knapp and one expected in May. He is further survived by his father, Albert of Ridgeway, Pennsylvania, his mother, Susan Reading of Marshfield and his siblings, John (Ann) Weis, Gary (Laura) Weis, Barbara (Todd) Cordes, Justin (Rebecca) Reading, Amy Reading, Bethany Reading, Sheri Reading and Scott Reading and a close friend, Sherrie Yetter.
