Michael C. Stewart, 70 of Pittsville died Friday, October 26, 2012 in the emergency room at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield following an accident while deer hunting. Visitations will be from 4-8pm Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home in Pittsville. There will be a time of sharing memories at 7:30pm at the funeral home. Michael was born in Grand Rapids,WI on October 1, 1942 to Charles and Katharine (Saren) Stewart. He attended Veedum School and Pittsville High School. Michael enlisted in the United State Navy serving during the Vietnam War from April 27, 1966 until his honorable discharge on April 27, 1972. He is survived by his wife Trudy, children Lorrie Navarro of Babcock, Michael T. (Renee) Stewart of Pittsville, Jon Hanvey of Green Bay and Dallas Hanvey of New Lisbon; six grandchildren, Nicole Navarro, Justin Green, Michael T. Stewart, Jr., Brady Hanvey, Noah Zenner and Paige Stewart. He is further survived by two brothers, Victor Stewart of Wisconsin Rapids and Roger (Kay) Stewart of Onalaska.
