Melvin G. Weis, 62 of Marshfield died on Tuesday evening, February 25, 2014 as a result of an accidental train accident. Family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 1-3:00pm at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with his parents. Melvin was born on May 10, 1951 to Alois and Leona (Bloczynski) Weis in Marshfield. He attended St. John's Parochial School and graduated from Marshfield Senior High School. He was a lifelong resident of Marshfield who was employed at Figi's in their shipping department. He enjoyed watching movies of all sorts. Melvin is survived by his brothers and sisters, Kenneth, Margaret, Karlene, Stephen, David Weis all of Marshfield, JoAnne (Huu) Tran of Garden Grove, CA, Phillip Weis, of Stoughton and John (Pauline) Weis of Auburndale.
