Mary A. Wink, 74 of Marshfield passed away on Tuesday evening, October 16, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield with Fr. Sabastian Venni officiating. Dorothy Gehrke, Jane Fait and Sacred Heart Choir will provide the music for the service. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Time of visitation will be from 4-7pm Friday at the Rembs Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 9am until service time at the church. There will be a Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service at 4:30pm Friday at Rembs Funeral Home. Mary was born in Milwaukee on April 8, 1938 to Carl and Frances (Pongratz) Kreckler. She was a 1956 graduate of Columbus High School. On May 29, 1965, she was united in marriage to Donald R. Wink at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Auburndale. She was a secretary for various accounting firms in Marshfield before retiring. Mary enjoyed playing board games and scrabble with her grandchildren, playing cards with her husband, going to the casino and traveling with her mother, Frances. Mary was a member of Lady Knights, Sacred Heart Catholic Church and its Parish Council of Catholic Women. She is survived by her husband Don, two sons, David (Janet) Wink of Spencer and Eric (Amy) Wink of Holmen, two grandchildren Ryan and Andrea Wink. She is further survived by one brother Edward (Nancy) Kreckler of Wisconsin Rapids. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Greg on Dec. 27, 1987.
