Mary A. Tysver, age 83, Chili, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at her home in the Town of Fremont, Clark County.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where a gathering for family and friends will be from 10:00 am until service time. Rev. Chris Schwanz will officiate.
Mary was born on November 11, 1939, in Dodge County, Wisconsin to Edgar and Opal (Fry) Green.
She was united in marriage to Darwin O. Tysver on December 28, 1957, at Christ Lutheran Church, Chili.
Planting flowers and crocheting were a couple of Mary's hobbies. She crocheted many afghans, doll dresses, and many other items. Living on the farm was her life. It was a hard life, but she wouldn't have it any other way. Her world was her husband, Darwin, and her children. At Christmas and special occasions her house was filled to the brim with family. She held a special place in everyone's heart.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Darwin O. Tysver, Sr. and their children, Joan (Jeff) Gotter, Darwin, Jr. (Barb) Tysver, Calvin Tysver, Mark (Donna) Tysver, Steven (Chris) Tysver, Sondra (Terry) Baierl and Mandie (Rob) Scholl. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, Tracy, Ashley, Jess, Stevana, Nick, Cole, Dustin, Amber, Jonah, Dalton, Mason, Dawson, Autumn, Austin, Peyton, Brynlie, Matthew, Jessica, Marah, Morgann, Rhiannon, Miranda, Isaiah, Evan, Zane, Addylinn and Raynna, 29 great grandchildren, Jade, Carter, Jaxon, Shyla, Jordynn, Jenna, Taylor, Olivia, River, Tucker, Aiden, Lillian, Hannah, McKinlee, Vincent, Evelyn, Andrew, Ava, Abbie, Alexa, Adam, Alec, Ace, Brennan, Breeleigh, Colt, Remington, Oakley, and Grayson, and two great great grandchildren, Sophia and Kinzleigh.
She is further survived by siblings, LaRetta Massey, Patricia (Mark) Jacobs, Ed (Sandy) Green, and Shirley (Terry) Jahn, brother-in-law, Harvey Fry, sisters-in-law, Jennette Kisling, Evon (Mike) Gilstrap and Janet Tysver.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Opal, her in-laws, Clinton and Evelyn Fry, her beloved son Mark, brothers, Arthur and Donald, sister, Susie, brother-in-law, James, sisters-in-law, Rita and Barb, and grandchild, Jammie Joe.
