IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary L.
Moore
February 16, 1954 – April 27, 2023
Mary Louise Moore, 69, of Pittsville died on April 27, 2023, in the comfort & care of family, after a courageous fight with cancer.
On February 16, Mary Lou was born to Russell and Louise (Malsin) Thompson. She graduated from Lourdes Academy in Oshkosh. Mary Lou fell in love with Randy Moore, commenced her lifelong role as a "domestic engineer", welcomed 5 children and fueled her gypsy soul while "on the road".
Mary Lou's lasagna would knock your socks off. She loved cardinals, the Green Bay Packers, thrifting, and her sweet treats from Kwik Trip. She was quiet and unassuming, made any place a home and had a heart that could eclipse most things, forgive most things, & look beyond most transgressions.
Mary Lou is survived by her greatest love, Randy and dog Tilly; 5 children, Noah (Keri) Moore, Sarah (Shawn) Weigel, Nathan Moore, Rachel (Kevin) Ortner and Brianne (Joe) Jirschele; 7 grandchildren, Shawna (Baillie), Brandon, Damien, Nate (Cascidy), Savanna, Brody & Lily; 1 special soon to be great-grandchild; and her siblings Julie, Anne, Jane, Paul, Rita, & Betsy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Kathy and brother, Tom.
A memorial service will be held for Mary Lou at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Pittsville. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service with a luncheon to follow. Inurnment will be private at a later date.
The family would like to extend gratitude to the staff at Marshfield Clinic Oncology, Neurology, Palliative Care Departments and Compassus Home Hospice. A special thanks to nurses Tiffany and Joelle for answering all our questions, providing exceptional care with kindness and compassion to Mary Lou.
