Mary V. Monroe, 75, Ogema, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Marshfield Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Mary was born on July 9, 1945 in Missouri to Wilbert and Rosemary (Arden) Schmidt. She married Jack Monroe in Taylor County. He passed away on November 24, 2005. Mary was very selfless, always wanted to help others, and put everyone before herself. She also enjoyed animals and spending time with her grandkids. She is survived by her son, Tom (Barbie) Monroe, daughter, Morgan Monroe, and 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Zachary (Ruby) Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her husband.
