Mary Jo Kennow, 77, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Three Oaks Health Services, Marshfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mary Jo was born on February 25, 1949 in Marshfield to Wilder and Isabelle (Ryan) Kennow. She graduated from Columbus Catholic High School. She worked in the Insurance Department at Marshfield Clinic.

Mary Jo enjoyed music, playing piano, art, photography, crocheting, knitting, and traveling.

She is survived by her sister, LucyAnn (John) Scheuer of Marshfield, nieces and nephews, Melissa (Ian) Bell, David (Paula) Scheuer, Patrick Scheuer, Steven (Tisha) Scheuer, Michael (Carrie) Scheuer, Monica (Tom) Paul, and Amy Gorst.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilder and Isabelle Kennow, and brothers, Rodney and Kevin Kennow.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staffs at Marshfield Medical Center 6 North, Three Oaks, Stoney River, and all the staff and physicians at Marshfield Clinic.
