Mary M. Brock, 96, Marshfield, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Aster Assisted Living in Marshfield.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Douglas Robertson will officiate. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.

Mary was born on July 12, 1927 in Marshfield to Benedict and Anna (Martin) Merkel. She attended St. John's Parochial School in Marshfield. Mary was united in marriage to Alfred "Al" Brock on August 24, 1948 at St, John's Catholic Church in Marshfield. He passed away on December 24, 2009.

She enjoyed lawn mowing and tending her flowerbeds at her home.

When she moved to Aster Assisted Living, Marshfield, she enjoyed all the crafts, activities and music provided.

She is survived by her children, Charlene (Donald) Hayward, of Green Bay, WI, Alan (Kitty) Brock of Rowlett, TX, Linda Brock of Madison, WI, Kevin Brock of Marshfield, WI, Terry (Debra) Brock of Stratford, WI. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jason (Marie) Hayward, Philip (Missy) Hayward, CJ (Leasha) Brock, Bridget (Brock) (Cody) Johnson, Courtney (Brock) (Clint) Kroening, Victoria (Oleson) (Ben) Rouse, Tyler (Allisa Brown) Brock, Logan (Kat Becker) Brock, 18 great grandchildren, and granddog Sophie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfred "Al" Brock, in-laws, Andrew and Albina Brock, brothers Alfred Merkel, Oscar Merkel, Benny (Benjamin) Merkel, Rueben Merkel, and sisters Clara (Merkel) Switlick, Margaret (Merkel) Reinders, and grandson Adam Oleson.
