Mary Beth Dickinson, 59 of Marshfield lost her courageous battle with cancer and found God at her home on Friday, December 5, 2014 in the loving arms of her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:15am Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakerville with Fr. Savarimuthu Selvalaj officiating. Gigi Plautz along with Roni Machtan will provide the music for the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitations will be from 9:30am Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Corpus Christi Church until time of service.
Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Mary was born on March 29, 1955 in Chicago to Leo and Cecilia (Stanuch) Gutkowski.
She was united in marriage to William K. Dickinson on September 6, 1980 in Burbank, IL.
Mary Beth found great satisfaction in her work as a registered nurse and made many close friends throughout her career. Ever since she was a child, she dreamed of moving to Wisconsin to raise a family on a small farm.
She enjoyed cooking, baking and especially sewing. Mary Beth was actively involved with her children as a Girl Scout Leader, Swim Team supporter and University of Wisconsin Theater production costume designer.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and by her dog Louie.
Mary is survived by her husband Bill, two children Judith and Joseph Dickinson both of Madison and a sister Rita Gutkowski of Burbank, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Marsha O'Rourke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS) are appreciated.
