Marlene Faye Hollinger Garza, 68, formerly of Prentice, died on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Deacon James Celba officiating. A luncheon will follow immediately after the service. Burial will take place in Prentice Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time. Marlene was born on November 23, 1944 in Ogema, the daughter of Richard "Red" and Ruby (Tague) Hollinger and was a 1962 graduate of Prentice High School. After her education she had been employed in food service. She enjoyed reading, gardening and arts and crafts. She had a generous heart and a beautiful soul. She is survived by her son, Ricardo (Julie) Garza of Waupaca and by her siblings Annabelle (Larry) Retzlaff of Catawba, Elaine (John) Merchant of Souix City, IA, Jessie O'Brien of Lockhart, Texas, Edwin (Elaine) Hollinger of Sobieski, WI, Carol Holtz of Marion, OH, Raymond (Janice) Hollinger of Phillips and Linda Savory of Zion, IL. She was predeceased by her parents and 3 siblings, Milo Hollinger, Richard "Dick" Hollinger, and Eva Hollinger.
