Marla Faith Hawks, 56, went Home to be with Jesus on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center, Marshfield, WI, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 6, 1966, in Sarasota, FL, to Clarence and Barbara (Wolfe) Addy. Marla relocated to Marshfield, WI in the fall of 1994. She was united in marriage to Douglas D. Hawks in Marshfield, WI, on September 19, 1998.

Marla knew she wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but that didn't stop her from being herself at all times. She was a beautiful wife, mother, singer, entrepreneur, artist, light, and life of the party. She had a big voice, and a boisterous personality, but an even bigger heart. Marla did a world of good and left behind a legacy of faith, love, kindness, and a passion for life and music.

Marla Hawks is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Barbara Addy. She is survived by her husband, Douglas, and their three children: Nolan, Sonja, and Gavin. Furthermore, she is survived by her sister, Heather Drake, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other family members. They're sure she's making a wonderful addition to the choir up in Heaven.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Center City Church, Marshfield, where a gathering for family and friends will be from 9:00 am until service time.
