Marjorie “Marge” A. Giles, 90, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Stoney River Assisted Living, Marshfield.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with visitation from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.

Marge was born on November 25, 1934 to Raymond and Theresa (Goldbach) Heiting.

She attended grade school and high school in Marshfield. After high school she went to work at the Marshfield Clinic where she was employed as a medical transcriptionist. She worked for the Clinic her entire career. She was united in marriage to Gary Giles on May 5, 1973 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield. She lovingly stayed by his side until his passing on July 26, 2011.

Marge enjoyed bowling and attending sporting events - especially her son and grandkids. She was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Later in life she enjoyed coffee and donuts with her friends, playing sheepshead, traveling, and going to the casino.

She is survived by her son, Brian (Elizabeth) Giles of Marshfield and grandchildren, Jeremiah, Trenton, and Alexander Giles.

She is further survived by her brother, Ronald (Donna) Heiting, sister, Shirley (David) Egner, all of Marshfield, sister-in-law, Joan Heiting of Wausau and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Gerald, James, and Kenneth Heiting.
