Marjorie A. Irwin, age 80, of Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at House of the Dove in Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 4th at Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Andrew Belt officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 9am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.

Marjorie was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield on December 10, 1945, to Harold and Eloise (Hansen) Henseler. She attended St. Mary's grade school and graduated from Columbus High School. Over the years, she worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory and St. Joseph's Hospital before retiring from the Marshfield Clinic in 2012.

On June 26, 1967, she was united in marriage to Robert E. Irwin at Christ Lutheran Church. They were married for 47 years before he passed away on December 30, 2014. Together, they raised three sons: Scott (Carrie) Irwin, Eric Irwin, and Matt (Hallie) Irwin. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren: Rick (Candice) Irwin, Derrick (Ashley) Mortenson, Kaycee (Mitchell) Irwin, and Kyle Irwin.

To her family, Marjorie was a steadfast source of strength, grace, and steady love—delighting in every milestone, large or small.

Marjorie’s home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and open arms. She showed her love through small, everyday quiet acts of care —whether it was hand-crafting beautiful, delicate crocheted pieces for those she cherished, spending hours hunting for hidden treasures at local antique shops, or bringing the family together for memorable trips.

Her spirit was rooted in faith and community; in recent years, she was actively involved with her church, volunteering her time and love to offer a warm smile and a helping hand to anyone in need.

Above all, her greatest joy came from watching her family grow, and her legacy lives on in the kindness and love she instilled in her children and grandchildren.

She is further survived by her siblings: John Henseler, Mark (Danel) Henseler, Donald Henseler, Mary (David) Konrardy, Debra (David) Nikolai, Barbara (Jeffrey) Becker, Lori (Thomas) Bean, Janice Thimmesch (Kevin), and Nancy Bieze, and a sister-in-law Kathy Henseler, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Henseler.
