Marilyn L. Davis peacefully passed into eternal heaven on Friday, October 28, 2011 at The Homeplace in Dorchester, WI where she had numerous amounts of loving caregivers at her beck and call twenty four hours. Marilyn was born September 1, 1929 to Otto and Louise (Wrobbel) Lange of Milwaukee, WI. Marilyn married Bill Davis on November 1, 1958 where she gained two loving stepsons; Clarence Sr. and Bill and was soon blessed with three wonderful daughters; Anita, Sandy and Norma before moving to Necedah, WI in 1972. Marilyn moved to Marshfield, WI in 1990. Marilyn loved coffee time with anyone who joined her, cross stitch, game shows, puzzles, the outdoors, visiting with family from North and South Dakota and being with her family. Marilyn is most known for her lovable stubborn ways; she was great at getting her way and we will always remember her witty ways! Marilyn also loved being treated to The Patio Restaurant in Marshfield. Marilyn is survived by one stepson; Bill (Sue) Davis of West Salem, WI, and her three daughters, Anita Holtz of Marshfield, WI, Sandy (Rick) Carlson of West Salem, WI, and Norma (Gary) Morrow of Marshfield, WI. Marilyn is also lovingly survived by her grandchildren; Mary Servais, Bill Davis and Stephanie Thompson all of LaCrosse, WI, Theresa Davis-Doe of IL, Clarence (Betty) Davis Jr. of Marshfield, WI, Trish (Daryl) Gumz of Loyal, WI, Craig (Ashley) Davis of Marshfield, WI, Jim (Jillian) Holtz of Colorado Springs, CO, Janice (Bill) Green of Wausau, WI, Amity (Sean) Hill of Cashton, WI, Devin, Alex and Katie Carlson of West Salem, WI, Andrea (Jamie) Hendrickson of Marshfield, WI and Erik (Elizabeth) Morrow of Marshfield, WI. Marilyn is also survived by many great grandchildren whom she adored with all of her heart and who greatly reciprocated her love! Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill on October 20, 1986, her siblings; Edna, Lorraine, Anita and Robert. She also lost a daughter, Darlene, in infancy. The family wishes to extend Special thanks to Marilyns caretakers: Betty Peterson, Rhonda Wilcox, and the staff at the Homeplace in Dorchester, WI. These women and men took care of Marilyn like she was a part of their family and we couldnt ever thank you enough! Memorial services will be 11am Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Rembs Funeral Home with Rev. Caleb Moin officiating.
