Marian Van de Loo, 90, Marshfield, died on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home. St. John's Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, followed by the Knights of Columbus rosary service at 6:30 pm, both at the funeral home. Marian was born on June 18, 1924 in Stratford, the daughter of Peter and Katherine (Kaiser) Kirsch. She was united in marriage to Lawrence S. Van de Loo on May 13, 1950 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Stratford. Marian was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of St. John's Parish Council of Catholic Women and enjoyed playing cards with her friends for over 60 years. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence and their children, Dale (Jewell) Van de Loo of Rosemount, MN, Dave (Susan) Van de Loo of Eau Claire, Tom (Cathy) Van de Loo of Hewitt, Kathie Van de Loo of Bruce, Robert (Chris) Van de Loo of Marshfield, Mary (Paul) Schneck of Weston, and Lori Gleaves of Hermitage, TN. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and brothers, Leander and Jerome Kirsch and a sister, Helen Hoff. She was predeceased by her parents, and siblings, Lillian Knoeck, Hilary Kirsch, Lucille Lubner, Cyrilla Kirsch, Raymond Kirsch in infancy, her twin sister, Marjorie, in infancy and Roland Kirsch.
