Marian R. Tomczak, 81, passed away peacefully at Meadow View Manor Assisted Living in Neillsville, Wisconsin, on April 24, 2024.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday May 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville, WI with Father Gregory Michaud officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until Mass at the church. Rembs Funeral Home of Marshfield is assisting the family.

Marian was born August 29, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Tom and Ruth A. (Blundell) Blockovich. She grew up in Las Vegas, graduating from high school there in 1961. It was in that town that she married Robert "Bob" Tomczak August 24, 1979. She loved Bob and he loved her so much, they were the center of each other's lives. An adept gardener: her love of nature gave her a sense of pride in having the most beautiful yard on the block. Quite the fisherwoman, she was a lover of animals: particularly her dogs and wild birds and an avid fan of all sports. Most of all she was happiest when she had all her grandchildren around her!

Marian is survived by her daughter Mary (James) Jessen of Neillsville, 4 grandchildren: Daniel (Nana) Mazul, Maya (Jerry) West, Kate (Josh) Burns, and Kayla Mazul; and 2 great grandchildren: Alina & Adana Mazul.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 44 years Robert.
