Marian I. Jahr, age 85, of Marshfield, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time. Rev. Janet Wolf will officiate. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.

Marian was born on September 20, 1937, to Wesley M. and Irene A. (Kadolph) Jahr. She was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School.

Marian had been employed as the first female police officer in Marshfield. At the time of her retirement, after 43 years, she was the administrative assistant to the chief of police in Marshfield.

She enjoyed crafts, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.

She is survived by many cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
