Marian M. David, 83, of Marshfield died on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her home. Memorial services will be 11am Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitations will be from 10am Tuesday until time of services at Rembs Funeral Home. Marian was born in Stratford on April 28, 1930 to Alex and Hattie (Hopfensperger) Wagner. She was united in marriage to Duane W. David on September 28, 1955 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stratford. He sadly passed away on September 23, 2010. Marian enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, doing puzzles, and being with family and friends at Pier Lake in northern Wisconsin. She retired as a supervisor for Figi's. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and its Parish Council of Catholic Women Society. She is survived by a daughter Gail (Daniel) Drexler of Hudson and Son Gary (Patti) David of Marshfield. Marian is further survived by one brother Alois (Adeline) Wagner of Ogden, IA, three sisters, Leona (John) Schutt of Hastings, MN, Dorothy Bernas of Minneapolis, MN, Rose (John) Herman of Northboro, MA and a sister-in-law Karen Wagner of Wausau. Besides her parents and husband Duane, she was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Wagner. Memorials may be designated to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
