Margaret L. Hoffman, 94, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Atrium Post-Acute Care of Marshfield A memorial service will be held for the immediate family at Veedum Moravian Church in Pittsville, WI with Pastor Wanda Veldman officiating. Margaret was born April 24, 1923 in the town of Medina, Dane County to Otto and Mildred (Schultz) Kleinschmidt. She attended Deansville and York schools, graduating in 1941 in Marshall, WI. She married Floyd Dye November 8, 1941, he died in 1950. Margaret then married Leonard Hoffman August 12, 1957, he died in 1979. She raised 9 children from her marriage. Margaret enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers, puzzles, crosswords, and sweets. She most of all cherished time with her family. Always having a strong work ethic, she worked 19 years at St. Joseph's Hospital as a housekeeper. Margaret is survived by her children: Kathryn (Dennis) Rucker, Donald (the late Sharon) Dye, Richard (Sandy) Dye, Larry (Linda) Dye, Marjorie (Gary) Meyer, Marvin (Sharon) Dye, John (Kathy) Hoffman, Leonard (Martha) Hoffman, and Judy (Robert) Black. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husbands, grandchildren: Robert, Shannon, & Michelle Dye; and her siblings: Eugene & Darwin Kleinschmidt, Dorothy Meyer, and Marcella Weihert.
