Margaret Ann Williams Calero, 80, died on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Leisure Time Group Home in Peoria, AZ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. The visitation will be held from 9:30 am on Friday until service time at Sacred Heart Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Margaret was born on December 28, 1933 in Auburndale, WI to Benjamin and Hilda (Baierl) Williams. She attended St. John's Parochial School, Marshfield, and was a 1951 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. While living in the Phoenix, AZ area she attended the University of Phoenix, graduating with a BA degree in nursing. She married Mario Calero on December 18, 1971 in Menomonie Falls, WI. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1981.
Marge worked in the Sun City area for many years in the health care field until her retirement. She was a member of the Sun City Posse, assisting the Maricopa County Sheriff in the Sun City area. While living in Marshfield she was active in Girls baseball.
She is survived by 4 brothers, Robert Williams, Hazelhurst, WI, Raymond Williams, Rhinelander, WI, Donald (Virginia) Williams, Marshfield, WI, and John Williams, Medford, WI, and sisters-in-law, Carol Williams, Mosinee, WI, and Jan Williams, Marshfield, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Gerald Williams, in infancy, Francis Williams and Gene Williams, 3 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Williams, Janet Williams and Jeanette Williams.
Marge will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A special thanks to Jeanette Knapp, care giver who helped the family with her special needs while she was a resident of Banner Residence for Alzheimer's Care, Peoria, AZ and Leisure Time Care Home, Surprise, AZ. Also, a thanks to the staffs of Banner Residence and Leisure Time Care Home where Marge was a resident since 2003.
