Margaret "Evelyn" Bronk, 96, Junction City, died on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Portage County Health Care Center, Stevens Point. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 12, 2012 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Junction City, with Rev. Andrzej Panek officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 am until service time at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Junction City. Martens / Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Evelyn was born on April 12, 1915 in Waukesha to George and Lena (Furrer) McGowan and was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Waukesha. She married Leo N. Bronk on October 13, 1938 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waukesha. He died on May 6, 2001. Evelyn and her husband farmed in the Town of Eau Pleine, Portage County, where she raised her family. She resided there until June 2003 when she entered the Portage County Health Care Center. She enjoyed embroidering, sewing, playing cards, bingo, and her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by five sons and four daughters, Joe (Peggy) Bronk of Kissimmee, FL, Leo (Marilyn) Bronk of Kenosha, George (Debi) Bronk of Racine, Tom (Linda) Bronk of Junction City, Mary (Tom) Gentes of Kenosha, Bob (Kathy) Bronk, Pat (Dean) Birkebak, Judy (Tony) Moscinski, all of Junction City, and Barb (Mike) Greiner of Arpin. She is also survived by thirty four grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and two great grandchildren expected this year. She is further survived by a sister, Arlys Schmidt of Waukesha and a brother, Frank McGowan of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Ed, a grandson, Kevin, a great granddaughter, Faith and five brothers. Memorials may be designated in her name to St. Michael's Cemetery, Junction City.
