Margaret C. Brey, age 94, of Marshfield, and formerly a resident of Somers, WI, gracefully passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Marshfield Health Services in Marshfield.

A visitation for the public will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Rembs Funeral Home. Entombment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine at a later date.

Margaret was born on June 1, 1929, to Alex and Lucy (Grocholski) Brzezinski of Milwaukee.

On October 29, 1949, she married Russell M. Brey of Sparta, WI. They lived in Bayview, WI in their early years. They then lived in Milwaukee until 1970 when they moved to Somers WI.

Margaret worked at Marine Bank, but her most meaningful role was being a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Gary R. Brey Sr. (Dawn) of Greenwood, WI. Two grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Russell, her brother Gilbert Brzezinski, sisters Audrey Brzezinski and Beverley Brzezinski and her daughter-in-law Dawn Brey.
