Marcia H. Schoessow, 88, Marshfield, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Marshfield Health Service, Marshfield. No formal services will be held at this time. Marcia was born on March 19, 1931 to Otto and Hazel (Vick) Guenther in March Rapids, Wisconsin. She graduated from Stratford High School and then Concordia College in River Forest, Illinois. She taught several years at a Lutheran Elementary School in Milwaukee, WI. She moved back to the Marshfield area working at Unity Elementary as principal. She retired at Stratford Elementary as a fourth-grade teacher. After her retirement from teaching, she spent many years visiting and supporting a school in Greenwood, MS with her special friend, Ralph. Marcia is survived by 6 nieces and nephews: Gary (Eunice) Potts, Karen (late Lonnie) Pugh, Illa (Larry) Syring, Lois (Mike) Glinski, Jane (Richard) Lamermayer, and Kurt (Rita) Potts. She is also survived by numerous great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother in infancy, Eldred Guenther, sister, Eunice Potts, brother-in-law, Robert Potts, husband, LeRoy Schoessow, and special friend, Ralph Reinwand.
