Madeline Joan Empey, 9 days old, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Rochester, MN.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time. Rev. Daniel Thelen will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Auburndale.

Madeline was born on February 13, 2024, in Rochester, MN to Carver and Louisa (May) Empey.

She is survived by her parents, Carver and Louisa Empey of Tomah, maternal grandparents, Alvin and Barbara May of Marshfield, paternal grandparents, Jon and Peggy Empey of Auburndale, maternal great grandmother Joan Deyo of LaCrosse, and paternal great grandparents, Allen and Donna Empey of Marshfield. She is further survived by uncles Parker and Keegan Empey and aunts, Melissa and Sydney May and an uncle Mattew May.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfather, Marlin Deyo, maternal great grandparents, Gilbert and Agnes Olivia May, paternal great grandparents, Roger and Clara Hartl, an uncle, Nathaniel Empey and a cousin, Xavier Williamson.
