Lyle R. Miller, 81, of Marshfield, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024.

Born on December 2, 1942 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Lyle was a 1960 graduate of Chippewa Falls High School. He was married to Glenda Powell on March 14, 1964 in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

A lifelong lover of music, Lyle was a member of the Howie Sturtz Orchestra for 50 years. He continued playing his accordion and keyboard sharing his love for entertainment. Lyle was a business owner for many years in Neillsville, but his passion for radio broadcasting, sales, and marketing led to his future career path, working for several broadcasting stations in the area. Most recently Lyle enjoyed working at V&H Motors and Chili Implement.

Lyle is survived by his former wife Glenda Miller of Marshfield, his daughter Angela (Russell) School of Polar, WI, his son Brian (Lianne) Miller of Lakeville, MN; four grandchildren, Hannah (Andy) Jacobs, Megan (Brian) Swan, Mitch School, and Paige Miller; and two great grandchildren: Hazel Jacobs and Brooks Swan. He is further survived by his late partner's children and their families.

Lyle was preceded in death by his partner of several years: Elizabeth Saverda.
