Lyle A. Heisler, 52, Marshfield, died peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his home in the Town of Spencer after a long courageous fight.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Daryn Bahn officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at Rembs Funeral Home and from 9:00 am on Tuesday until service time at Christ Lutheran Church.
Lyle was born on January 26, 1964 in Marshfield, to Eugene and Clara (Johnson) Heisler, Sr. and was a 1983 graduate of Spencer High School. After his education he began employment at Beatrice Cheese and remained working in the same building where he retired from Sensory Effects in April 2014 due to ill health.
Lyle was united in marriage to Ann Buelt on May 6, 1989 at Christ Lutheran Church.
His greatest hobby was raising cattle on his beef farm. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his hunting buddies. He also loved playing cards and "hanging out" with the family. He was a hardworking family man who will be deeply missed.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Ann, and their children, Cody Heisler (Megan Christiansen) and Jessica Heisler, all of Marshfield. He is also survived by his parents, Eugene and Clara Heisler, Sr. of Marshfield, and his sisters, Janet Aschebrook (Jay Zellner), JoAnn (Mike) Berdan, all of Stratford, and his brother, Eugene (Kathy) Heisler, Jr. of Eau Claire. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Katherine Buelt of Pittsville, and in-laws, Ken Buelt (Amy Callahan) of Madison, Doris (Jerry) Lesmeister of Arpin, Randy Buelt of Pittsville, Joe (Mary) Buelt of Kansas City, MO, and Don Buelt of Pittsville, many nieces and nephews and his lifelong best friend, Jon (Linda) Vayda.
