Ludwina “Lu” Rose Scherman, 97, passed away, Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

Lu was born in the town of Day, Marathon County, Wisconsin, to John and Elizabeth Theurer.

She married John Scherman and resided in Wausau, Wisconsin for about 25 years. Later moving to Tucson, AZ and operating El Sahuaro Motel with John. After retiring they did many cross country road trips in their motor home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 1, 2026 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Rozellville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield is assisting the family.
