Lucille L. Schneider, 93, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Resurrection Medical Center, Chicago. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at St. Johns Catholic Church, Marshfield. Rev. Charles Stoetzel will officiate and music will be provided by St. Johns Church Funeral Choir. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 am until service time at St. Johns Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Lucille was born on January 30, 1918 in Marshfield to Mathias and Anna (Wunsch) Schneider. She moved to Chicago where she worked for the Chicago Board of Health as an LPN until she retired. She currently resided at St. Andrews Life Center in Niles, IL. She was the beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and eight siblings, Frances Reif, Loretta Schneider, Helen Carson, Clarence Schneider, Margaret Kerr, Florence Schneider, Lorayne Schweikl and Mary Neuman.
