Lucille M. (Kiekhafer) Holbrook, 94, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care, Stevens Point. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at New Hope Community Church, Junction City, with Rev. Erv Volkmann officiating. Burial will take place in Runkel Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine, Portage County. The Family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time at New Hope Church. Lucille was born on May 21, 1922 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Louis and Martha (Borchart) Kiekhafer. She was united in marriage to Willis "Bud" Holbrook on June 21, 1942 in Wausau. He died on October 26, 2012. Lucille is survived by a son, Gary (Sandy) Holbrook of Sturgeon Bay, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Holbrook of Marshfield. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a son Louis "Bud" Holbrook, a daughter, Karen Ruenger, 2 sisters, Anita Detjens and Dorothy Geise and recently a grandson, Scott Holbrook.
