Lucian W. Pinkowski, 84 of Junction City died on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1pm Friday, October 9, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Junction City with Fr. John Ofri-Domah officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitations will be from 12 noon until time of services.
Martens/Rembs Funeral Home of Junction city is assisting the family.
Lucian (Lutz) Pinkowsk was born on February 5, 1931 in Wongrowitz, Poland. Loving husband of 40 years to Violet Kanina who was born in Junction City, WI and died on February 23, 1995. He was educated in Germany and worked as a manager at Bally's in Chicago and later worked in Franklin Park, IL.
Survivors include, sister-in-law, Elly Pinkowski (Karl); niece Karen Ziegler, husband Jim and daughter Emily; nephew Kenneth Pinkowski, wife Debbie and daughter Olivia; niece Dori Pinkowski-Cabrera, husband Ray and sons Justin, Tyler and Dylan and further survived by fond friends Ron and Laureen Mayek and family.
Survivors in Germany include, brother Hans, wife Gisela and sons Volker and Klaus and family; sister Irene Prahst, (Gunther); nephew Waldemar; and niece Gabrielle. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Michael and Bertha (nee Pidde) and brothers, Ferdinand, Karl, and Bruno.
