Lorraine A. Weigel, 92, Marshfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Stoney River Assisted Living under the care of Heartland Hospice. Lorraine was born on April 15, 1929 in Marshfield, to Raymond and Mary (Cekada) Dieringer. She was united in marriage to Edwin J. Weigel on October 12, 1949 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield. Edwin died on May 22, 2017. She is survived by her children, Judith (Harlan) Rose, Gary Weigel, Dennis Weigel, Dale Weigel, Jane (Robert) Amacher and Glen (Julie) Weigel. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with family, especially around the holiday's. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Stoney River Assisted Living Staff for their love and support through the years spent with them and Heartland Hospice For their added care.
